Meet Your Future

Networking and passion-sharing, the two keywords of the Meet you Future event organized in collaboration with Bocconi Students for Advocacy and Litigation.

Hosted in the wonderful location of the new Lamborghini showroom in Milan, students and professional figures from the best known legal and consulting firms based in the Italian capital of fashion and business had the opportunity to share experiences and meet each other. Among the many ones who took part in the event a special mention goes to Ernest&Young, Symphonia SGRBonelliErede, DLA Piper, Baker&McKenzie and Deloitte

When the passion of newly graduated students meets the needs of talent searchers here we have the premises of the perfect evening. A night rich of constructive talking and presentations, all served in the perfect framework of an informal dinner.

The B.wine association had the pleasure to accompany the wine tasting with two different wine-tasting proposals offered by Malavasi Vini and Cantina Braida.

The Malavasi Company adopted as a philosophy the agenda of improving quality and sustainability of its wines, for these reasons Malavasi wines are poor in sulphur dioxide and wonderfully enhance the characteristics of the soil. All the products of this winery have the specific intent of surprise the three senses and prove themselves irresistible to the taster. The smell and taste of Malavasi wines reflect the features of an area suited to viticulture for its calcareous clay and a climate influenced by the proximity to the lake. These wines perfectly maintain both minerality and strong aromas thanks to the high temperatures and the type of soil.

The wine proposed during the event was the “Rosa del Lago”, a typical Rosè wine composed by Petit Verdot (80%), cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in equal percentages (10%). The production area makes this wine unique and precious, its grapes come exclusively from the Belvedere vineyard, on the morainic hills of the Lake Garda. At the sight this Rosè presents itself with an intense pink, while the aromas are floral and fresh, at the mouth its sapid, intense and soft. This wine is nothing less than a dream came true and it has to be served and tasted at 10-12°C.

The second proposal came from an Italian winery world-wide known, Braida di Giacomo Bologna, which has made passion and commitment the principal highlights of the company. Proposing amazing products to both the Italian and the international markets, this Asti based winery has become an Italian flag of excellence all over the world.

The wine offerd during the tasting was the “Langhe Bianco DOC”, composed of Chardonnay (70%) and Nascetta (30%), an indigenous Piedmontese variety, semi aromatic and with excellent longevity. The Vineyard is situated in Serra dei Fiori, in the village of Trezzo in the Langhe hills. Up to 400m and above the sea level this vineyard is exposed to the south and has a planting density of 4100 vines per hectare.

il-fiore.jpgThe vinification process begins with a soft bunch pressing and continues with an alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature between 19 and 22°C. The characteristics of this wines are its truly strength point. A straw-yellow colour opens the premises of a tasting full of surprises. The soil structure and climatic conditions of the vineyard create for this wine the perfect minerality and elegant acidity. The highly aromatic bouquet with ripe fruit aromas and white pepper hints is then followed by fresh and grassy citric flavours on the palate. Further floral notes, hints of stone fruit and sweet spices are adding to the richness of the wine and the juicy structure is accomplished by a fresh finish. Perfect for meatless strarters and delicate first courses this wine has to be served at a temperature between 10 and 12°C in order to have all its characteristics properly enhanced.

Braida di Giacomo Bologna is the proof that a successful business can grow with the passion and love of a family, they are proudly calling themselves a “Family-run” company and since 1961 bringing up the importance of tradition and innovation in the making of a high-quality wine.

Winners of many awards among which we will quote the 93/100 score for the Bricco dell’Uccellone Barbera d’Asti doc 2013 in the Wine Enthusiast ranking, a mention among the excellent wines of the “Guida Vini d’Italia” de L’Espresso for the Bricco della Bigotta 2013 and 3 glasses awarded by the “3 Bicchieri Gambero Rosso 2015” to Bricco dell’Uccellone 2012.
